Wood Floor Refinishing Services
When your hardwood floor needs a face lift you can count on our hardwood flooring specialists to do the job right. We will first sand your floor to a uniform flatness, and then custom mix our stain to achieve the exact color you desire. Finally, we apply two coats of finish that is great for light duty commercial and high traffic residential use. Wicks Wood Floors Inc. uses a water based urethane finish. Since the finish is water based it emits low VOCs and does not have a strong odor.
Buff and Recoat
So, your floors don’t need an entire face lift, just a little touch up? No problem. If you hardwood floors are less than ten years old, and in fairly good condition, our Buff and Recoat service should do the trick. We screen the top layer of finish to remove minor surface scratches and blemishes, and then apply one coat of our residential finish.
Custom Stain Selection
One area we take pride in is our custom stain selection process. With the installation of a site finished job, you have the ability to choose your stain that best meets your design needs. We will custom mix and match stains on site allowing you to see exactly how the color will work with your wall colors, cabinets and countertops. Your wood flooring stain color will truly accent those other choices you have had to make.
Custom Hardwood Borders and Inlays
We offer a wide selection of borders and inlays including those made by Historic Floors of Oshkosh (link) to make your floor unique. From simplistic to intricate, our borders and inlays are worth checking out.
Wood Flooring Options: Site Finished or Prefinished flooring
Wicks Wood Floors can help you navigate the many different flooring options out there. We offer both solid and engineered hardwood flooring that can be either finished on site or prefinished. We also offer Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring that gives you the beautiful look and texture of a hardwood floor, but it scratch and water resistant.
Commercial
Wicks Wood Floors also offers commercial hardwood installation. Whether it be a gym, game lining, or apartment complex. We have completed work with many Schools, Universities, Churches, and Community Centers.
